Michéle Wilcox: “We Must Remember the Pandemic’s Victims and Heal Together”

Michéle Wilcox, a nurse and board member of the political party MoD, delivered a speech reflecting on the impact of the pandemic and its management. She expressed support for the Nurses’ Appeal, a protest against the pandemic response, and explained that MoD stands for human rights, democracy, and courage. Wilcox highlighted the widespread consequences of the pandemic: lost lives, long-term effects, economic struggles, increased domestic violence, and isolation of the elderly.

She shared her personal sorrow over following restrictions that prevented physical contact with her mother-in-law during her final year. Wilcox criticized the contradictory rules, lack of scientific basis, and misinformation, noting that many began questioning authorities and seeking the truth.

She concluded by emphasizing the importance of remembering those affected, acknowledging mistakes, and working toward healing, symbolized by lighting candles and observing a moment of silence.

The speech honors the memory of those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, recognizing the elderly who died alone, children whose lives were disrupted, business owners who lost their livelihoods, and individuals harmed by vaccinations without support. It pays tribute to those who questioned and resisted oppressive measures during the pandemic, calling them heroes for defending freedom and self-determination despite personal sacrifices. The day is also a moment to acknowledge the pain and loss experienced by many, while looking forward to a future based on reconciliation, truth, and justice. The speaker urges solidarity, remembrance, and a commitment to building a better, more just world, symbolized by lighting candles for those lost, harmed, and those who fought.

🇸🇪 December 8th Marked for COVID Vaccine Victims’ Remembrance; Memorial Sites Proposed Worldwide – Watch the speeches from the Candlelight Vigil in Stockholm

A few hundred participated in the candlelight vigil in Stockholm to honor those who died from mRNA vaccines and to protest the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine being awarded to mRNA research.

Torches were lit, speeches were made by MoDs party leader Andreas Sidkvist, who also initiated the Nobel Prize protest, and by the nurse Michele Wilcox. A minute of silence was also held for all who have died. Finally, all torches and candles were symbolically extinguished for all lives that have been extinguished. A floral wreath with the text Honoring All Lives Lost and Harmed by mRNA Vaccines was left at the entrance to the Nobel Prize Museum.

Finally, Andreas Sidkvist encouraged everyone to make December 8th a day of remembrance next year for all COVID vaccine victims. This date is symbolically important because it was on December 8th, 2020, that the first dose of the COVID vaccine was officially administered in the world.

Sidkvist also designated the Stortorgsbrunnen fountain in Gamla Stan as a memorial monument for those harmed by the COVID vaccines in Stockholm. He urged people to leave flowers and memorial candles there throughout the year in memory of those who were injured or died due to the COVID vaccines. He also encouraged people to designate a place in their hometowns to honor the memory of the deceased and remind everyone of the tragic crime committed in connection with the administration of the so-called COVID vaccines.

  • The Doctors’ Appeal becomes a partner of Covid Memorial Day

The Doctors’ Appeal becomes a partner of Covid Memorial Day

We are very pleased that the Doctors’ Appeal is joining as a partner to Covid Memorial Day.

As a partner, they will help spread information about the Covid Memorial Day through social media, newsletters, and their website. Discussions are also ongoing about possible ways to further develop the day in the future.

The Doctors’ Appeal (Läkaruppropet) is a Swedish initiative comprising doctors and medical researchers who, during the COVID-19 pandemic, expressed criticism of certain measures introduced to manage the pandemic.

The initiative was launched on March 12, 2021, by doctors Sven Román, Nils Littorin, and Sebastian Rushworth through an opinion piece in Expressen titled “Stop the Harmful Corona Restrictions.”

The appeal advocated for three main changes:

    1. Increased targeted protection for risk groups: Implementing protective measures specifically for the most vulnerable groups in society to reduce their risk of contracting COVID-19.

    2. Reduced restrictions for the general population: Easing general restrictions affecting the entire society, arguing that such measures lack sufficient scientific evidence and may cause more harm than good.

    3. Opposition to the implementation of vaccine passports: Rejecting the use of vaccine certificates as a requirement for participating in various societal activities, citing constitutional rights and the risk of discrimination.

The Doctors’ Appeal emphasized the importance of basing public health measures on scientific evidence and avoiding actions that could lead to negative consequences for public health and society at large. They highlighted studies questioning the effectiveness of lockdowns and stressed the significance of natural immunity following infection.

The initiative gained support from thousands of individuals, including doctors, researchers, and members of the public, who signed the appeal to express their agreement with these positions. The Doctors’ Appeal continued to serve as a platform for debate and information regarding pandemic management and related medical and ethical issues.

  • Press Release | Light a Candle for all those affected – Participate in Covid Memorial Day on December 8

Press Release | Light a Candle for all those affected – Participate in Covid Memorial Day on December 8

On December 8, 2024, we mark a day of remembrance to honor all those impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and its far-reaching consequences. By lighting a candle at 6:00 PM local time, we stand in solidarity with the millions affected – from elderly individuals who passed away alone, to children whose normal routines were shattered, and families torn apart by restrictions and mandates.

Covid Memorial Day is a global movement for truth and justice, initiated by Andreas Sidkvist, chair of MoD – Human Rights and Democracy. The day aims to honor the victims and highlight the urgent need for accountability and reconciliation.

    A Date of Historical Significance

December 8 was chosen as a symbolic date, marking the day the first Covid-19 vaccine was officially administered worldwide on December 8, 2020. This date serves as a reminder of a time that transformed the world and invites reflection on the pandemic’s effects on individuals and communities.

    Why Covid Memorial Day?

The pandemic has left deep scars, continuing to impact people worldwide:

    • Elderly: Many spent their final days in isolation, without the comfort of loved ones.
    • Children and teenagers: Restrictions on education and social activities caused long-term social and psychological effects.
    • Families and relationships: Vaccine mandates and health passports drove divisions among families and friends.
    • Small businesses: Countless entrepreneurs were forced to close, facing devastating economic consequences.
    • Vaccine injuries: Millions globally have reported adverse effects caused by Covid-19 vaccinations.

It is time to acknowledge the mistakes and injustices that occurred and pave a path toward truth and justice.

“What happened during the so-called Covid pandemic is a horrific crime against humanity, unparalleled in modern times. It is time to acknowledge the violations that occurred so that all those affected can find peace, and those responsible can be held accountable,”

    says Andreas Sidkvist.

The Background – From Nobel Prize Protest to Memorial Day

The idea for Covid Memorial Day was born during a global protest in Stockholm on December 10, 2023, when thousands gathered to question the awarding of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for Covid-19 vaccine discoveries. At the demonstration outside the Nobel Prize Museum, Andreas Sidkvist declared the need for an annual day of remembrance to honor those affected by the pandemic.
